IntelliXR®, the medical-grade platform for capturing eye and brain biomarkers from CitrusBits, made its first public appearance at the Ophthalmology Futures European Forum in London. Gaurav Malik, Chief Commercial Officer at CitrusBits, presented the platform to clinicians, investors, and industry leaders.
IntelliXR® held its soft launch at the Ophthalmology Futures European Forum 2026, hosted at Glaziers Hall in London. Gaurav Malik presented IntelliXR® to the room and spent the rest of the day meeting with clinicians, researchers, investors, and industry partners.
About the Ophthalmology Futures European Forum
The Ophthalmology Futures Forums are clinician-driven innovation meetings focused on new technology, entrepreneurial ventures, and market access in the ophthalmic sector. They bring together scientists, physicians, regulators, corporate leaders, and investors. This year's European Forum marked 15 years of the forums, with a programme covering cataract surgery, corneal therapies, glaucoma innovation, and early-stage European biotech.

How IntelliXR® is structured
IntelliXR® is organized in three layers.
1. Medical-grade devices
Headsets with binocular eye tracking, calibrated display output, and a dedicated response controller capture the raw signal.
2. The platform layer
An SDK and API provide one integration point for eye tracking, pupillometry, stimulus presentation, perimetry, session management, and privacy controls. IntelliMDM manages the device fleet across sites. Regulatory groundwork is already in place across ISO 13485, ISO 27001, HIPAA, and FDA readiness.
3. Applications
Research teams, solution builders, and device makers develop their own diagnostic, monitoring, and research applications on top of the platform.
The platform already supports clinical use at scale. RadiusXR, which delivers head-mounted visual field testing on the IntelliXR® stack, supports more than 10,000 users across 2,000 clinics. Behind the platform sits CitrusBits, with 18 years in healthcare technology.
Who the platform serves
IntelliXR® supports researchers studying eye movements and visual function, solution builders developing diagnostic and monitoring applications, pharma and biotech teams running studies with eye-based endpoints, CROs managing multi-site trials, and device makers adding eye and brain measurement to their products.
"London was the right place to introduce IntelliXR®. The conversations we had with clinicians and investors confirmed what we hear from research teams every day. The science of eye and brain biomarkers is moving quickly, and what the field needs now is a reliable way to capture those signals at scale. That is what IntelliXR® is here to provide."
Gaurav MalikChief Commercial Officer, CitrusBitsThank you
Thank you to the Ophthalmology Futures team and to everyone who stopped to talk with us in London.
Building with eye or brain biomarkers?
